Mother's Day' are quite well off. It is a far from perfect film, but thanks to prime acting on a number of cast members, humorous observations of mother love and sometimes quite horrific scenes of violence (boiling water!) The film strikes just to the positive balance. You will not stagger when asleep and the illogical present in the plot do you think in retrospect after. A lasting impression the film will not leave, however.A large part of 'Mother's Day' takes place in the home of the couple Sohapi. 

From the beginning it is clear that Beth issues, but whatever it is, there is still just guess. Since that night a tornado over the area where the couple lives will attract the house warming party is in - celebrated shelter - all mod cons. At the same time, three criminal brothers, one of which is very seriously injured on their way to their mother. What is especially striking about 'Mother's Day' is that you only get little connection with the victims. Beth Sohapi (Jaime King) is still fairly off the paint, as well as the doctor of the company, George (Shawn Ashmore, Iceman from the "X-Men" movies). And although her name is hardly mentioned, also makes Annette (Briana Evigan), thanks to its distinctive rugged appearance somewhat impressed. The three criminal brothers come barely better off and remain in stabbing clichés: Ike (Patrick Flueger) seems to be the wisest, most calculated of the bunch; Addley (Warren Kole) is the maniacal madman and Johnny (Matt O'Leary) is the parent child.
