Sights of Death' is released in the Netherlands under the more interchangeable, bland title 'Death Squad'. This in combination with the famous names in the cast, besides the above mentioned stars we see B-movie acquaintances Michael Madsen and Daryl Hannah, already indicate that you do not have to have too high expectations of the quality of this film. When you're with that default to 'Death Squad' will look, perhaps there is still room to get some fun out of this monstrosity.
Okay, so in 2047, the year of 'Death Squad' takes place (but it could just as well in 2025. Of 2268). The earth as we know it no longer exists. Both cities and forests are turned into a radioactive desert landscape, where disease, death and destruction prevails. Without protection, you can not roam freely in this contaminated environment, and if you do not get timely medication you going already hallucinating death. The planet is headed by a totalitarian regime that is as corrupt as the disc on which this film is shiny, but of course there is resistance. Ryan Wilburn (Stephen Baldwin) and Sponge (Danny Glover) are just about the last of this resistance, which is called Green Army. Ryan is sent on a dangerous mission to retrieve evidence from the criminal activity of the government, so the government finally has less leg to stand on. Ryans plane crashes but in an infected area and Ryan seeks contact with sponge in a way so that everyone knows where he is, even the government. Why does he do that remains unclear. Instead of a command to send off Ryan concludes the senior colonel Asimov (Rutger Hauer) there itself with a number of employees to go off. Why does he do that remains unclear. Ryan manages to stay out of the hands of the government, to rescue the dead and evidence?
It goes with 'Death Squad' all wrong with the scenario. The story is undeveloped and full of illogic. Bleak future picture hung up is not convincing. The horrors of the disaster that has taken place so there is not walking around without the horse means antirads can be, do not come up to its promise. That movie which i watched that movie was hd quality movies dvd quality. The computers where Sponge on'm working, were in the nineties of the last century no longer 'science fiction-worthy', let alone in 2047. Because Sponge's relationship with Ryan is his character probably intended to Ryan, the hero of the story to give something human about it, but Sponge's incoherent mutterings at the beginning of the movie adds just as much as his character.
Women are only slightly baffled, so comes a prostitute after Michael Madsen character has orally gratified to its bloody end and Daryl Hannah, who has a strong role, must allow themselves to sexual innuendo pleasure (which Hauer spanned the crown ). Thanks Tuag (Neva Leoni), the mutated young woman, who Ryan wordlessly helps its mission, there is still something of tension and mystery in the story, but the majority of the cast struggles with a clear eye on their bank account by the rickety dialogues. According to the inlay is 'Death Squad' a homage to the action films of the eighties, in the tradition of 'The Expendables', but that's pretty far-fetched.
